Coming in at half the size of what you find from your standard home-use CPAP water chamber, not only will end up packing light but you'll require less water than normal.

Can I use normal tap water in my Respironics water chamber?
Though the use of tap water and/or even bottled water is okay to use for this particular water chamber, it is still recommended to use distilled water allowing you to prolong the life of the humidifier and water chambers. To achieve a good balance, we recommend distilled water to be used at home while other types of water can be used when you're on the go and traveling far away.
How often should I clean my water chamber and with what materials are best?
Generally, it is best to clean your Respironics water chamber daily after it has been used. There is no need to go overboard with the cleaning materials as warm water and a mild detergent will do the trick. Furthermore, this chamber is dishwasher safe so if you plan to use that method be sure to put it on the top rack only. Keep it to a "once a week" minimum in the dishwasher.
How often do I replace the chamber?
Normally, you will want to replace the chamber when you start to see an abundance of calcium, and deposits forming. Other than that, the only time you would replace it is if it appears damaged or worn.
