OPTIONAL Heated Humidifier
Philips Respironics DreamStation has designed an integrated humidifier with the ability to attach straight to the DreamStation Series Machines. Offering two modes, "Standard" fixed heating mode as well as an "Adaptive" mode which automatically adjusts.
Adaptive mode
When set in "Adaptive" mode the DreamStation Humidifier will monitor the atmosphere temperature and humidity levels in order to adjust accordingly. Adaptive humidification promises to reduce the chances of condensation building in the hose. When in "Standard" mode, the DreamStation humidifier will maintain one heating level throughout the night.
Advanced Dry Box Technology
Dry Box Technology was intended to diminish the chance of water damage when the OPTIONAL humidifier is in use. Devised to trap the water within the walls of the unit to prevent water from traveling through the machine and humidifier connection. Also, air outlet ports were constructed specifically to use a one-way valve to prevent water from exiting the water chamber and into the machine.
Heated Tube
Decrease the chances of rain out with OPTIONAL heated tubing.
